Hinds-Bock has been recognized by many
trade magazines for its significant contributions and successes in
the food industry.
One of the first was in 1981 where
our SP-64 single-piston depositor was shown in a Southland plant. In this picture it was
dispensing sauce on French pizza bread. This equipment was installed in many central
distribution centers and was essential for various production uses including handling
salads, sandwich spreads, and burrito fillings.
Every company says
that their equipment is the best, but when an unsolicited client
says that their Hinds-Bock equipment was
"one of the best
investments we've ever made" it is worth reading.
Burrito production has
always been an important
part of Hinds-Bock manufacturing history. Many articles have included
pictures and testimony to its money-saving capabilities. Here our 2P-64
twin-piston filler is shown in the Ruiz Food Products plant in Tulare,
California. Nearly all burrito lines throughout the country have included
Hinds-Bock equipment for its reliable performance.
Showing the equipments versatility was the success story at Ecrivisse
Acadienne in Louisiana. A multi-cylinder brine depositor from Hinds-Bock was a critical
part of their new plant. The sixteen-cylinder depositor replaced manual operation with
splash-free depositing where high-integrity seals require clean tray rims.
In an article in Prepared Foods
Hinds-Bock was featured at HFI Foods, a major surimi
seafood processor. Here the Hinds-Bock transfer pump and three-piston depositor solved
their sauce portioning and depositing problems. "The Hinds-Bock equipment filled the
bill by delivering 20 times greater throughput than the manual operation, with
dependability as evidenced by the low maintenance cost in parts and labor."
Obviously, there are many production sites that
do not lend themselves to media publicity. Some of the equipment provided in these
locations are show generically on our custom brochure HB273. This brochure is available
immediately upon request.
